1. Variety is the spice of life
There are three separate and unique days to choose from on the main menu, each with their own set of chapters.If you need more variety, there are over 20 individual workouts to choose from.
2. Clear goals
Each chapter has a brief written intro of which exercises it will consist of to minimize talking at the beginning of each workout. This means less talking, more training.
3. Aargh!! How much longer?
There is a countdown timer in the lower right corner of the screen so when the going gets tough, you know that you know how much longer you have to push yourself until you get a break. Personally, I find it definitely helps me keep going when I know I’m almost at the end.
4. I’m tired of the same music every time!
The music is selected to match the tempo of the workout and is a high energy rock and roll. The option to do the workout without the soundtrack is available at the beginning of each day on the DVD version so if you want to listen to your own music while you train that option is available. You can still hear my voice as you normally would if you choose the no music option from the menu.
5. Improved production
The video and sound quality are much better as a result of using a better camera, microphone, and editing. The ocean waves and sea breeze are still audible in the background to provide that additional natural energy but my voice and the soundtrack music is more clear. You won’t have to turn the volume up as high to hear me.
6. Shorter but more intense workouts for time-crunched trainees
The entire program is devoted to using 2 kettlebells at once. This means twice the workload resulting in shorter segments and a shorter overall workout duration. Because of the higher intensity, however, the workouts will definitely feel long enough.
7. Choice of format
It’s true, the DVD seems to be going the way of the dodo, but some of us, myself included, still love them. For those of you who don’t do DVDs, the video is available for digital download.
8. Try before you buy
If you want to check it out before you commit to the whole thing, you can purchase the digital format one day at a time. Each day is completely unique, so I know if you try one, you’ll probably want them all.

If you feel like you’ve hit a plateau with your training or need to get out of a rut, double kettlebell training will do it. I know that the research indicates training in this manner works to burn fat and build muscle, but you need to feel it to believe it. It really does elevate the intensity to another level.
So far the feedback I’ve gotten has been very positive. Everyone seems to find the training very challenging, but in a fun way, which was my ultimate goal. Good luck!
